TCLC Summer Institute 2008

Development of 2008 Summer Institute: Applied Behavior Analysis in Classrooms

3, August 2007 -- Due to the success of the 2007 Summer Institute and based on the feedback of those who attended, plans have begun for the TCLC Summer Institute 2008. Based on feedback from this years event the following will be the target goals for next year.

• Increase the tracks for teachers from one track to three tracks.
  • Track One: Applied Behavior Analysis in the Classroom and Autism Treatment
  • Track Two: Applied Behavior Analysis in the Classroom and Classroom Management
  • Track Three: Applied Behavior Analysis in the Classroom and Effective Teaching Methods
• Organize a luncheon for Wednesday during the Institute
  • Have a Key Note Speaker
    • Michael Fabrizio (Effective Teaching in the Modern World)
• Expand the number of potential participants
  • From 50 to 300
• Allow teachers to choose to attend different day and discussions from different tracks
