Outreach and Consultation Services
  Individual Behavior Support Plans
Individual behavior support plans are developed through a flexible, but
systematic, process of functional behavioral assessment (FBA) and
comprehensive ecological assessment. The consultant identifies the specific
concerns and goals; gathers information through review of existing records,
interview of support providers, and direct observation; develops summary
statements; and generates behavioral support plans. The consultant also
works together with service providers to insure that the plan is implemented
with consistency and is effective in achieving the identified goals. The
consultant identifies the training and resources needed, determines who is
responsible for monitoring implementation, evaluates outcomes (via continued
data collection), and communicates on a predetermined schedule, making
adjustments in the plan, as needed.

Behavior
Management
Program
The Behavior Management Program
provides short-term, outcome based training to care providers and teachers to
address more common behavioral difficulties (e.g., non-compliance, tantrums,
toileting, bedtime, and habit related problems). Treatment is protocol driven
and typically occurs across multiple environments such as the clinic, home, and
school/daycare. Following the initial intake, the program provides direct
consultation services on a weekly basis for 1-2 hours per week.

Transition Services
Transition service goals are designed t o help students
acquire the skills needed to return to their public school, home and/or
community settings. Clinical support, in the form of a teacher that
provides necessary educational and behavioral support, is offered when
students transition from our center based program. Throughout the entire
transition, staff members work closely with families and school personnel to
ensure successful outcomes.
Intensive Special Education Centers
Outreach
and Consultation services are available to assist school districts to
develop and deploy behavior analysis in the classroom. These intensive
classrooms are designed to assist districts to normalize children into
regular education without the need for long term assistance or special
education supports.
These services are designed for each individual school system and train
teachers to effectively

Neurodevelopmental
Disabilities
Program
The Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program provides consultation and training
to caregivers of children with a wide variety of developmental disorders.
Services are provided to families, school staff, medical personnel, and other
disciplines. Consultation typically involves providing the caregivers with
information regarding issues such as diagnosis and treatment as well as issues
related to community resource s, child
development, and special education. Training focuses on empirically based
approaches to behavior management and addresses both behavioral excesses (e.g.,
noncompliance, tantrums, aggression, self-injury) and behavioral deficits (e.g.,
communication, toileting). The program provides behavioral assessment and
treatment services on a weekly basis for 2-4 hours per week.
